By end-March, a working group including representatives of the Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH), the Kozloduy nuclear power plant, and the Energy Ministry, is to come up with a stance on the project for a 7th unit of the N-plant.

Jacquelin Cohen, Executive Director of BEH, announced Thursday that the working group had to present its conclusion on the funding of the project too.

Cohen, as cited by the Bulgarian National Radio, informed that the final decision on the implementation of the project for a 7th unit of the Kozloduy NPP was to be made by the Energy Ministry.

He explained that a decision of the Council of Ministers required the approval of the shareholders' agreement, the financial model, and the contract on the implementation, supply, and construction of the N-plant unit.

Cohen also noted that another group of experts was analyzing the project for a Bulgaria-Greece gas grid interconnection and was to come up with a stance on the scheme by end-March too.
