It's a lot of work and not easy at all to stand on the second step of the podium; silver, at only 9 point behind the winner ? the Norwegian team ? is a fine position, he said.

It was the first time on the podium of Bocuse d'Or for the Americans. The Swedes ended third.

Jerome Bocuse was interviewed by AGERPRES in a partnership with Sarbatoarea Gustului.

The 24 participating countries entered 2015 edition of the culinary competition, often dubbed 'the Gastronomy Olympics,' in the following order: Chile, Australia, Iceland, the United Kingdom, France, Guatemala, Argentina, Spain, the United States, Estonia, Switzerland and Morocco on Tuesday, and Germany, Finland, Malaysia, Norway, Canada, Japan, Denmark, Sweden, Singapore, Hungary, the Netherlands and South Korea on Wednesday.

Other prizes awarded at the ceremony went to Hungary for the best poster; Argentina for the best promotion; Finland for the best cook aid, Antti Lukkari; Japan ? the special prize for the fish plate; Finland ? the special prize for the fowl plate.AGERPRES
