Cruise lines to witness strong rise in traffic during 2015

CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association), presented statistics that are irrefutably pointing to a strong rise of cruise lines tourism in 2015, based on current bookings.

 

In 2015, the estimates show 23 million passengers travelling on cruise ships, while 61% of Tour operators in North America report a rise in bookings for 2015 compared to last year. Cruises attract tourists since 1,000 new exotic destinations have been added to itineraries, especially in that which concerns the emerging Asian market.

 

CLIA also revealed that cruise lines companies added to their lists will invest more than 4 billion in 2015, for 22 new ocean-liners, river cruise ships, exploring cruise liners and ships belonging to various other categories.
