Serbia moves down one spot in latest FIFA world rankings

ZURICH - The Serbian men's national football team has moved down one spot in the latest FIFA world rankings and now takes the 39th position.

Serbia now has 713 points, which places it above Poland (709), Nigeria (664) and Sweden (654), and bellow Cape Verde (756), Island (743) and Scotland (748).

The strongest upward movement in the rankings was made by Equatorial Guinea, which played the semi-final of the African Cup of Nations and now shares the 49th position with Congo.

As for Serbia's rivals in the European Championship qualification matches, Portugal is ranked seventh, Denmark 28th, Albania 63rd and Armenia 74th.

The top five still comprises: Germany, Argentina, Columbia, Belgium and the Netherlands.
