Bulgarian FM Pays Two-Day Working Visit to Romania

Bulgarian Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov will pay a two-day working visit to Romania on Thursday and Friday.

Mitov is to meet with Romanian Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu on Thursday, the foreign ministry's press service reports.

The two foreign ministers are to discuss the state of the bilateral relations, regional cooperation and cooperation within the framework of the EU as well as issues of the international agenda.

Mitov will lay flowers to the monuments of Bulgarian national heroes Vasil Levski and Hristo Botev in the Herastrau park in Bucharest.

A commemorative ceremony will mark the anniversary of the death of Vasil Levski on Thursday.

The Foreign Minister will join the delegation of Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev, who will be paying a one-day official visit to Romania on Friday.
