DNA searches in Suceava target public institutions, one company and one home

Suceava National Anti-corruption Directorate (DNA) prosecutors on Friday are conducting home searches in 7 locations in the Municipality of Suceava and the Commune of Brodina, Suceava County, out of which 3 at the headquarters of a public institution, and the rest at a company with 3 operating divisions and at an individual home.

According to a release sent to AGERPRES, the searches target a criminal case on suspicion of corruption offenses, corruption related offenses, malfeasance while in office, forgery offenses, committed in the period 2012 ? 2014.

According to some judicial sources, the searches are said to also target the Prefect of Suceava.

In the case, the prosecutors benefit from specialised help from the Romanian Intelligence Service and the Mobile Gendarmerie Group of Bacau. AGERPRES
