Greek Alternate FM in Albania for SEECP

On Monday and Tuesday, February 23 and 24, Alternate Foreign Minister Nikos Chountis will carry out a visit Tirana, where he will participate in the Meeting of Foreign Ministers of South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) member states being hosted by the Albanian SEECP Chairmanship.

During his stay in the Albanian capital, Chountis will have a series of meetings:

On Monday, February 23, Chountis will meet with the Speaker of the Albanian Parliament, Ilir Meta; and the head of the main opposition party, president of the Democratic Party and Mayor of Tirana, Lulzim Basha; and he will participate in a working dinner hosted by Albanian Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati in honor of the participants in the SEECP Ministerial.

On Tuesday, February 24, Chountis will participate in the proceedings of the Meeting of Foreign Ministers of SEECP member states and have successive meetings with Albanian European Integration Minister Kladja Gjosh and His Beatitude Archbishop Anastasios of Tirana.

Finally, Chountis will attend a reception marking the 23 anniversary of the founding of the Human Rights Party, and he will attend a dinner being organized by the Greek Ambassador to Albania for agencies of the Greek community in Albania.
