Serbia beats Croatia 5-0 in Davis Cup tie

KRALJEVO -- Serbia defeated Croatia 5-0 in the first round of the Davis Cup World Group played over the weekend in the town of Kraljevo.

Serbia was given its fifth win by Viktor Troicki, who on Sunday beat Mate Delic 6-4, 6-3.

In the first reverse singles match, Serbia's Filip Krajinovic triumphed over Croatia's Franko Skugor 6-4, 6-2.

Serbia secured its spot among the top eight teams in the worldon Saturday , when Novak Djokovic and Nenad Zimonjic beat Marin Draganja and Skugor in the doubles.

On Friday, Djokovic and Troicki beat Delic and Borna Coric in their respective singles matches.

Serbia will play either Argentina or Brazil in the quarterfinals in July.
