Bosch to open in Blaj research-development centre for automotive technology, to hire 300 specialists

Bosch Group will open this year in Blaj, where the company has three factories, a research-development centre for automotive technology, with the total number of Bosch employees in the town of Blaj to be over 1,500 by the year's end.

In order to promote career opportunities within the largest Bosch location in Romania, the one in Blaj respectively, where over 300 people will be hired this year, the company has organized two staff recruitment events in Cluj-Napoca and in Alba Iulia and on March 28 it will organize a similar event in Targu Mures. The company is recruiting people qualified in professions such as mechanical engineer, design engineer, automation engineer, testing engineer, but also logistics or retail specialists, graduate students or post-graduate ones in technical and commercial areas.

Werner Richter, General Manager of Bosch Rexroth in Romania and the technical manager of the factories in Blaj, said on Thursday, in Alba Iulia, that after the recruitment event held in Cluj-Napoca, Bosch recorded "a significant number of CVs of very good quality," submitted by people interested in the career opportunities within the company.

Bosch Group has been operating in Blaj since 2007, with two production units for linear technology and one for automotive technology. Currently, the total number of employees is approximately 1,200, and is estimated to reach 2,000 by 2020.

In Blaj, the German holding has invested, in the three factories, over 80 million euros. AGERPRES
