Bulgaria's President Arrives in Austria on 2-Day Working Visit

Bulgaria's President Rosen Plevneliev arrives in Austria Tuesday on a two-day working visit.

During his visit Plevneliev will receive the European Regional Integration award of the Federal Province of Lower Austria and the Danube University Krems.

At 5 pm EET on Tuesday, Plevneliev will meet with Austrian Federal President Heinz Fischer at the Hofburg Palace in Vienna, according to the press office of the Bulgarian President.

Later the same day he will attend a meeting with Austrian business representatives organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Lower Austria.

During the forum, which is to be attended by representatives of over 200 companies, Plevneliev will present Bulgaria's advantages as a trading partner.

Plevneliev's agenda also includes a meeting with the Federal Minister for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs Sebastian Kurz.

On Wednesday Plevneliev will visit Sankt Pölten, the administrative capital of Lower Austria, where he will meet the Governor of Lower Austria, Erwin Pröll, at 11:30 EET.

After the meeting with Erwin Pröll, Bulgaria's head of state will receive European Regional Integration Prize ERI prix.
