US edition of Stojiljkovic's novel 'Constantine's Crossing'

BELGRADE - Publishing house Blooming Twig Books from New York has published the novel by Serbian author Dejan Stojiljkovic 'Konstantinovo raskrsce' (Constantine's Crossing) which was translated by Randall A. Major.

The plot of the historical novel takes place in Serbia toward the end of World War II. The Nazi are searching for the big secret of the Constantine the Great which can change the course of the war.

'Constantine's Crossing' was previously published by Belgrade-based publishing house Geopoetika as part of the edition Serbian Prose in Translation.

This is the third book from Serbia to be published by Blooming Twigs as part of the special edition entitled Serbian Modern Literature Series.

The previously published titles include 'Baltimore' by Jelena Lenigold and 'Hamam Balkania' by Vladislav Bajac and they have already achieved major success on the U.S. market. Bajac's novel recently reached the sixth place on Amazon's bestseller list in the Literature and Fiction category.
