Hahn:Kosovo should meet requirements for visa liberalization

PRISTINA - Freedom of movement is one of the EU's objectives, but Kosovo should first meet certain requirements for the visa liberalization regime to be put in place, EU Commissioner for Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn said in Pristina on Wednesday.

Replying to Kosovo reporters' questions as to when the visa liberalization regime would come into effect for Kosovo, Hahn noted that five EU member states had not recognized Kosovo yet.

However, the EU is interested in resolving the issue in a positive way, Hahn added.
