Hania and Athens are the top picks for Easter visitors

Athens and Hania (pictured) are the first choices among foreign holidaymakers heading to Greece next week for Catholic and Protestant Easter, according to international online travel search engine Trivago.

The data collected concerns searches for holidays in Greece between April 2 and 5.

The search results showed that the Germans had a preference for Athens, Thessaloniki and Hania, the Danish favoring Hania, the Spaniards Athens and Myconos, the Swedish Athens and Rhodes, the Italians Athens, Hania and Kos, and the British and the Poles Athens and Hania.
