Hugh Jackman to be in Istanbul soon

Renowned Hollywood actor and musician Hugh Jackman will return to Istanbul for three shows on May 30, 31 and June 1 with his show, "An Evening with Hugh Jackman."

Jackman's first live performance at Istanbul's Zorlu Center PSM took place on March 17. The remaining shows were set to continue until March 20, but the remaining three shows were canceled due to a hemorrhage in the actor's vocal cords.

"Hugh Jackman is being treated for a hemorrhage in his left vocal cord. The joint decision we made with Mr. Jackman's doctor in the U.S. is it is not possible for him to perform in this condition. He can continue his shows after his treatment," said his doctor, ?smail Koçak.

In a statement on his Twitter account, the Australian actor promised to come back to Turkey, saying: "Merhaba. I have a left vocal hemorrhage. [On the] advice of Dr. Koçak, Dr. [Gwen] Korovin I will cancel my shows in Turkey. Make no mistake, I'll be back!"

Tickets for the show will go on sale in the next coming days.
