Patrick Sondheimer, captain of the fateful Germanwings flight

For the first time in the two weeks since Andreas Lubitz crashed a Germanwings airplane into the French Alps killing 150 people, a photo of the plane’s captain  sees the light of day.

Patrick Sondheimer was the man who tried the hardest to stop the tragedy from happening.
