Turkish TV channel to promote Serbian tourism supply

BELGRADE - The television crew behind a programme broadcast by Kanal 7, one of Turkey's most popular television stations, is in Serbia to present the country's tourism supply to its viewers.

The Turkish TV crew visited Serbia following a successful presentation of Serbia's tourism supply at an Istanbul fair, the National Tourism Organisation of Serbia said in a statement.

The Turkish guests are scheduled to visit Belgrade, Novi Sad, Sremski Karlovci, Oplenac and Kopaonik.

The TV crew's study trip is taking place in collaboration with Turkish Airways, MK Mountain Resort and the Ski Resorts of Serbia public enterprise.

Turkey is one of the fastest-growing markets in terms of the number of tourists who visit Serbia annually.

According to official figures from the national statistical institute, around 45,490 Turkish tourists visited Serbia in 2014, registering 81.710 overnight stays - 49 percent more than in 2013.
