World Book Day marked with book therapy

KRALJEVO - The National Library in Kraljevo, central Serbia, staged a performance titled "Book Therapy" on the occasion of International Day of the Book celebrated on April 23.

In a makeshift treatment room, Kraljevo's doctors prescribed books by Serbian and foreign authors as a therapy.

"We have told children they should read Serbian poetry, and grown-ups - the works by Gogol, Chekhov, Ivo Andric and Milos Crnjanski for stress management, " Gordana Stojkovic said,

On the occasion of World Book Day, the library has prepared a program dedicated to the true greats of Italian literature- Dante, Boccaccio and Petrarch.
