"I have talked both about the CVM [the Cooperation and Verification Mechanism] and Schengen, but things are known in that area, our position. The support, both on the European Commission's level and on the European Parliament's level, exists, we still have to persuade one or two member states which still have reserves in this regard," the head of Government said at the end of the working visit he paid to Strasbourg on Tuesday.

Prime Minister Victor Ponta had meetings with European Commission President Jean Claude Juncker, European Parliament President Martin Schultz, EC First Vice President Frans Timmermans, EC Vice President Jyrki Katainen, but also European Commissioner on Justice, Vera Jourova, Competition, Margrethe Vestager, and Regional Development, Corina Cretu.
