Kate Middleton gave birth to a baby girl!

The Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to a healthy baby girl, two hours after her arrival at St. Mary’s Hospital. She had entered the hospital earlier this morning (6 am local) and gave birth a couple of hours later.

 

Her husband, Prince William was present.

 

UK Prime Minister David Cameron wished the Duchess and the Prince congratulations, expressing his delight.

 

Earlier today:

“Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was admitted at 06.00 hrs to St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London and is in the early stages of labour”, according to Kensington Palace’s Twitter account. The royal family states that the Duchess will be giving birth normally. Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton are expecting their second child. A crowd has gathered outside the hospital, holding flags and signs. The Duchess travelled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at the hospital with the Duke.
