Luxury bus trips now reality (in the US)

A company called Vonlane in the US decided to bring about a stylish and comfortable revolution in bus transportation.

 

Instead of having noisy, cramped, smelly buses, Vonlane equipped its buses with half of the total seats, dressed them up in leather, and a wooden parquet floor.

 

Vonlane buses also have a toilet, Wi-Fi, satellite TV and a radio. The Kitchen is equipped with snacks and drinks, as well as food which is delivered during lunch or dinner times, brought over by a bus stewardess.

 

A three-hour drive between Dallas and Austin, in Texas, costs 100 dollars, more than a flight booked a long time prior to the trip, but much less than a last-minute booking. Bus trips have multiplied in recent years, due partially to the 9/11 attacks, long flight queues, urbanization, and mobile technology.
