Energoprojekt "could become Belgrade Waterfront contractor"

BELGRADE -- Serbia's construction industry giant Energoprojekt "could become the main contractor for the Belgrade Waterfront buildings that will be built first."

According to the Vecernje Novosti daily, "it will be known early next month if the price determined by the domestic builders will suit the investors."

The Two Towers project has reportedly already been sent to the company's experts and they have been working to produce Energoprojekt's offer.

"In the meantime, an 80-meter crane is being prepared, that will be of great importance in building the 20-storey structure" - writes the Belgrade-based daily.

Belgrade Mayor Sinisa Mali recently announced that the residential towers are planned to be built during the first phase of the Belgrade Waterfront project, and that construction would start this summer.
