Ferry boat routes may be affected by June 30 strike

A union representing coastal shipping seamen has called a strike for June 30, charging that certain ferry boat operators are violating collective bargaining agreements.

The union, PNO, also claims that harbor corps officers are not properly ensuring that crews are paid on time.
The main demand of the industrial action is for the signing of a new collective bargaining agreement.
