Exit Festival Returns with Big Names

Exit is back in Novi Sad again this year as the organizers celebrate the 15th birthday of this annual music festival. Besides Exit in Novi Sad, fans this year will be able to follow the musical adventure to Montenegro with the Sea Dance festival.

Exit has become famous world wide as one of Europe's best music festivals. Each year the city of Novi Sad welcomes thousands of fans to the Petrovaradin fortress where Exit is held. The EU festival awards for 2014 officially proclaimed it Europe's "Best major music festival".

It all began as a project by students fighting for peace and democracy in Serbia against the rule of authoritarian strongman Slobodan Milo?evi?. Fifteen years on, the spirit of that struggle remains alive as the festival is being run by a non-profit organization.

Exit will last from July 9th to July 12th and the Sea Dance festival will run from July 15th to July 18th.

Accommodation prices in Novi Sad range from ?15 to ?30. Visitors can also stay at the Exit camp, but will have to pay ?33 for the privilege.

The ticket price for the whole package, including Sea Dance, is ?147, while the price for Exit alone this year is ?125. You can also book tickets for each individual day, for ?33.

Just like every year, the organizers of Exit have prepared a big number of artists for all kinds of tastes.

Topping the list, however, are some huge names, including Emeli Sandé, Faithless, Manu Chao La Ventura, Motorhead, Milky Chance and Tom Odell.
