Ukraine bans the work of 13 artists as threats to national security

The Ukrainian government decided Saturday to ban the work of 13 artists after they were deemed as a national threat to the security of the country. The lists includes Russian artists and supporters of Vladimir Putin’s policies in the eastern Ukraine. Famous French actor, Gerard Depardieu, who gained Russian citizenship in 2013 and is a vocal supporter and personal friend of President Putin is also on the ’black list’. The 66-year old actor was recently banned from entering Ukraine on the same grounds.
