Group of 7 Georgians arraigned in Hydra murder case

Authorities believe at least four of the seven suspects, all Georgian nationals, arrested in the murder of a 67-year-old Hydra restaurateur participated in the man’s torture!

All seven were transported from the upscale Saronic Gulf island to the port city of the Piraeus on Tuesday to face charges, while efforts continue to locate a mysterious pair that left the isle in a sea taxi before the other seven suspects were apprehended at quayside.

According to reports, all seven suspects categorically deny their involvement in the murder of Manolis Economou.

Police are also investigating whether the group of foreign nationals dined in the victim’s restaurant before the home invasion they are suspected of carrying out.
