Building of Turkish daily, broadcaster attacked in Istanbul

A group of people marching from Istanbul's Mecidiyeköy neighborhood to the Be?ikta? district to condemn terror, after three deadly attacks killed a total of 30 Turkish security officers in in Turkey's eastern provinces in just three days, began protesting the media group which includes daily Sabah and private broadcaster ATV while in front of their common building late Sept. 8.

Sabah reported the group attacked the building with stones and water bottles and tried to enter it, while adding police had difficulty preventing the protesters from entering the building. 

The Turkish Journalists' Association (TGC) released a written statement condemning the attacks on Sabah and ATV, and also a separate attack on daily Hürriyet on the same night. 

Meanwhile, Republican People's Party (CHP) head Kemal K?l?çdaro?lu called Sabah Editor-in-Chief Erdal ?afak.
