A total of 130 migrants of Syrian origin seeking seasonal work in the Seydikemer district of Turkey's Aegean province of Mu?la have been found in the woods and sent to neighboring Antalya province under gendarmerie watch.

The group arrived at the district with hopes of finding seasonal work in hothouses but decided to return to Antalya as their search did not yield any results.

Locals spotted the migrants trespassing in the woods at around 3 p.m. on Sept.13 and call the Seydikemer district gendarmerie command.

The gendarmerie found the migrants as they were resting in the forest and asked them to leave the woods under their watch.

The migrants had to climb to the highway through the steep slopes of the forest and had a hard time with babies and children alongside bags and luggage.

Those who managed to climb the slope assisted others by handing them tree branches.

The gendarmerie placed the migrants in buses and minibuses traveling to Antalya to help them reach their intended destination.
