The orchestra and chorus of the Greek National Opera will perform emblematic excerpts from Theodorakis’ operatic and symphonic work. Musical Direction: Hlias Voudouris. Conductor: Elias Voudouris. This concert celebrates Mikis Theodorakis’ 90th birthday anniversary, an iconic figure of modern Greece and one of the best Greek composers.
The soloists Julia Souglakou, Helen Davou, Giannis Christopoulos, and Petros Magoulas will perform excerpts from the 1st, 3rd and 7th Spring-Symphony, from the operas Antigone, Medea, Electra, the oratorio Canto General, and Zorba the Greek.

Stamatis Kraounakis, one of the most important contemporary composers, gives a one-man show titled “Oli Ena – Fila Me” (All for One – Kiss Me). The performance brings three generations of songs in 31 nights.

Gagarin (Liosion 205, Attikis)
Shortly before entering the studio to record their new album, Nightstalker climb back on stage of Gagarin to celebrate the recirculation of the vinyl “Dead Rock Commandos”. This was the album that made them even more famous, from which sprang one of the major music videos of the independent Greek music scene, the notorious “Children Of The Sun”.
The live on October 24 marks the beginning of a series of thematic live performances which will continue throughout the season: the special theme concert in Gagarin is one of the most popular figures of the Greek rock scene.

The Sisters of mercy return to Athens for a unique concert. Andrew Eldrich’s emblematic voice takes audience members on a music tour through their entire discography.
