Biserko "doesn't know why UNESCO bid is opposed"

"Cultural heritage in Kosovo will be better protected if Kosovo joined UNESCO," Sonja Biserko has said.

The director of the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Serbia told reporters in Belgrade that "regional cooperation is key for the entry of Balkan countries into the European Union" and that she "this context, does not understand the campaign against Kosovo's entry into UNESCO."
