Candyman’s party sparks fire

The millionaire tobacco tycoon who calls himself ‘The Candyman’, Travers Beynon, threw an extravagant party cost more than half a million dollars in preparation.

Beynon’s party took place at his Helensvale mansion on the Gold Coast on Saturday with dozens of naked women, live elephant in his front yard and many fireworks.

In fact the extravagant fireworks show sparked a bushfire across the river and fire crews were called to dampen the blaze.

More than 500 revellers stormed his “Candy Mansion” while the controversial tobacco tycoon arrived on a flying fox.

The ‘release your inner beast’ themed party saw exotic animals including a crocodile and macaque on site, whereas a series of bizarre events including a fake gunbattle with a hired squad of ‘fun police’ took place.
