Bulgarian Company Wins DFC Innovation Award

Bulgarian microfinance service CashCredit has won an award from the Mondato Summits, events focused on developing the emerging Digital Finance and Commerce space.

The company has received the Mondato Award for Mobile Finance and Commerce Innovation in Africa, along with Oradian, a core microfinance system and platform.

The companies singled out "exhibited the most innovation in their given market in Africa during 2015-2016".

BlackBerry Messenger was also one of the contenders with their mobile payment platform, but CashCredit showed an innovative credit risk assessment model, identification technology, and strong international presence, according to the specialized website Money.bg.

Mondato is a consultancy working in finance technologies looking for the leading names in the industry in Africa, Europe and Asia.
