Polling stations open for repeat parliamentary elections

BELGRADE - Fifteen polling stations across Serbia opened for the repeat parliamentary elections on Wednesday morning.

The repeat elections are proceeding in an orderly fashion for the time being, with no irregularities found, the commission said in a statement.

The closure of the polling stations will also mark the end of the election silence.

The elections are repeated at five polling stations in Nis, two in Vranje and Jagodina and one in Backa Topola and Sremski Karlovci, respectively.

Repeat elections are also taking place at one polling station in Uzice, Kladovo and Belgrade's Palilula and New Belgrade municipalities, respectively.
