Nikolic, Vucic to meet with Serb leaders in BiH, RS Thursday

BELGRADE - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic and PM Aleksandar Vucic will on Thursday meet with Serb leaders in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska to discuss the opposition of the BiH Peace Implementation Council to the RS referendum, the overall situation and further steps.

FM Ivica Dacic said late Tuesday this was one of the conclusions of consultations held by Serbian top officials in the Presidency of Serbia.

The consultations addressed the security situation, regional stability and Serbia's vital national and state interests, he said.

"Measures aimed at protecting our national and state interests have been agreed and will be, and are already being, implemented - the citizens can stay calm and rest assured that security in the country and, hopefully, in the region, will not come under threat," Dacic told reporters during a break in the meeting.
