Nikolic receives Angolan Armed Forces chief of general staff

BELGRADE - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic on Friday received a delegation headed by the Angolan Armed Forces Chief of General Staff, General Geraldo Sachipengo Nunda.

Nikolic noted the bilateral cooperation between the two countries was exceptional and based on sincere friendship and understanding.

"Serbia is very grateful for Angola's principled position on the matter of Kosovo-Metohija - I know that all those who adhere to their own principles are under great pressure," a statement from the presidential press office quoted Nikolic as saying.

The two countries have excellent cooperation in the defence industry, he noted.

Nando confirmed Angola's commitment to further development of the excellent bilateral relations with Serbia as well as to non-recognition of Kosovo.
