Amygdaleza re-opens as “new space”

On Wednesday, Alternate Citizen Protection Minister Nikos Toskas attended the opening ceremony of the “new space”, as the center will be called now. The new space can host 300 refugees and is equipped with wireless Internet and a playground.
According to the Ministry of Citizen Protection, a reservation centre will operate in the new space, where the migrants and refugees can only stay for 10 days.
Mainly, the residents of the new space will be families and yound children who wish to retun to their countries with the help of International Immigration Agencies. For this to happen, they will have to submit α waiver of asylum. Amygdaleza will be the place where they will wait for their passports and papers to be issued.
