BSP Leader Ninova: Borisov's Government Prepares Ethnic Change in Bulgaria

BSP leader Korneliya Ninova has stated that the government is preparing an ethnic change in Bulgaria via the permanent placement of refugees in Bulgarian municipalities.

According to Ninova, the suggestion that this placement would solve Bulgaria's demographic problem is highly cynical. In her opinion, Borisov's government is powerless to deal with the refugee problem and it now looks dangerous.

Ninova recalled the announcement of Ginka Chavdarova, Executive Director of National Association of Municipalities, that Bulgarian municipalities with bad demographic indicators may integrate refugees permanently.

"We are asking who has assigned this task to municipalities." Ninova clarified that only the government may do so in Bulgaria.

"Apparently, the state has withdrawn and is hiding behind the municipalities, in spite of the fact that this decision has not been taken by the municipalities. It is obvious that ghettos will be created. It is a great danger to attract new migrants." Ninova explained that, so far, migrants have bypassed Bulgaria and have looked for a better life elsewhere since Bulgaria did not offer them such favourable conditions.
