Titles, number one ranking no longer priority for Novak Djokovic

BELGRADE - Serbia's Novak Djokovic said Friday winning titles and retaining the world number one ranking in men's tennis was no longer a priority for him as he wanted to rediscover the feeling of enjoying himself on the court.

"The number one ranking and winning tournaments is no longer a priority for me, but that does not mean my dedication to tennis will decline. Since Roland Garros, I have not been able to find emotional fulfilment on the court, I have felt a burden and I did not like that," Djokovic told reporters in Belgrade.

He added he was absolutely satisfied with his results this season.

"I am not playing tennis to be the best in the world, I am in a position to redefine things, I want to enjoy every moment on the court. The mental attitude and the approach are changing. I am no longer thinking about the number of titles," Djokovic noted.
