Vucic: Regional reconciliation, stability Serbia's priorities

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic on Wednesday received the Czech Foreign Ministry's special Western Balkans and OSCE envoy Stefan Fuele.

Regional stability is a foundation for economic prosperity in Serbia and the entire region, and regional reconciliation and cooperation remains a priority of the Serbian government policy, Vucic noted.

Vucic said he was satisfied with the good bilateral relations between the two countries as a foundation for further improvement of overall cooperation and economic ties in particular, the Serbian government press office said in a statement.

Fuele, a former EU enlargement commissioner, noted the Czech Republic was advocating an accelerated accession of Serbia and the Western Balkans to the EU.

Serbia is a key Western Balkan country and its every success is also the region's success, Fuele said.
