Kromberg & Schubert to come to Krusevac
KRUSEVAC - A deal to build a plant for German auto parts maker Kromberg & Schubert in Krusevac, central Serbia, was signed Friday at a ceremony attended by Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic and PM Aleksandar Vucic.
The factory will hire a 2,500-strong workforce, and Kromberg & Schubert - Europe's largest auto parts manufacturer, which mainly caters to German premium car makers - plans to recruit 1,500 more workers later on.
The plant will be built on a 21,000 sq m property.
The agreement on incentives to build the factory was signed in the Krusevac City Hall by Minister of Economy Goran Knezevic and Kromberg & Schubert owner Hans-Otto Kromberg, with a memorandum on investments in Krusevac signed by Mayor Dragi Neskovic and company representatives.
The signing ceremony was also attended by German Ambassador to Serbia Axel Dittmann.
