Children of Russia: Reflecting on a Century to open Thursday

BELGRADE - An exhibition of photographs titled Children of Russia: Reflecting on a Century will open in the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade Thursday.

Visitors will have an opportunity to see portraits of people from the Russian Empire at the turn of the 19th and the 20th century as viewed through the camera.

The photos portray children being brought up in a traditional society, from early childhood to adolescence.

The exhibition material contains copies of works of world-renowned artists and photographers who depicted the life of people in Siberia, in Russian and Ukrainian villages as well as in the Volga and the Ural regions.
