PM absent from work, cancels all meetings

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic did not come to his Nemanjina Street office in downtown Belgrade Wednesday morning and has cancelled all meetings, the Blic daily reports.

Vucic's media adviser Suzana Vasiljevic confirmed this to Blic, but was unable to specify the reason for the unprecedented situation.

No other government source contacted by the paper was able to say if this was due to urgent state affairs or the ongoing security crisis following the uncovering of an arms cache near Vucic's family home in Jajinci, suburban Belgrade, and indications that his brother Andrej had been a target of an assassination plot.
