Bulgaria's Parliament to Vote on Govt Resignation

Bulgarian lawmakers are due to convene on Tuesday with the cabinet's resignation being a major item on their agenda.

The government stepped down earlier this week, following the presidential election results which determined socialist opposition-backed Rumen Radev as Bulgaria's next President-elect.

Borisov had vowed to quit if his candidate, Tsetska Tsacheva, lost the election.

The vote is scheduled for 14:00 local time (EEST).
