Legendary Greek benefactor's wardrobe on sale for charity

Wearable mementos from a life fully lived in Athens and New York, via London and Gstaad, among other locations, are going on sale in the Greek capital this week.

Garments from the private collection of Greek benefactor Maria "Doda" Voridis-Goulandris will be on display and available for purchase at a Hellenic Society for Disabled Children (ELEPAP) bazaar which takes place on Friday, November 25, and Saturday, November 26.

The two-day bazaar was made possible thanks to the generous donations of her two sons, New York-based Aristidis and Petros Embiricos.

At the ELEPAP headquarters, organizers have created a boutique setting with a boudoir feel, featuring mirrors, for instance, to host plenty of evening wear as well as day wear ranging from knits to suit separates - pieces reflecting her personal style.
