FM heads to Libya; reports say embassy may reopen

Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias is to conduct an official visit to Libya on Monday amid reports that Athens is planning to reopen its embassy in Tripoli and restore diplomatic relations with the North African country.

Greece's embassy closed at the end of July 2014 due to civil strife in Libya.

Kotzias is to meet with his Libyan counterpart Mohamed Taha Siala and Libyan Prime Minister Fayez al-Sarraj.
