Dacic: We expect to open new chapters in December

BELGRADE - Belgrade wants a continuation of the dialogue with Pristina in a status-neutral way that also implies that Pristina does not begin every discussion with references to "genocide" or "ethnic cleansing" allegedly committed by Serbia, FM Ivica Dacic said Thursday.

Pristina is displaying nervousness because it is less and less successful on the international scene, Dacic told a regular press conference.

Speaking about his decision to leave a Warsaw conference where Kosovo FM Enver Hodzaj blamed Serbia for the wars in the former Yugoslavia, Dacic said that he had first waited to see the reaction of EU officials, but that there had been none.

Serbia expects that an intergovernmental conference could be held in Brussels in December to open at least one new chapter in its EU...
