Stefanovic: Serbia open to investors from Azerbaijan

BELGRADE - Serbia is open to investors from Azerbaijan and it wants to give them all assurances of safety and security, and that it is a stable country with an economy that is making progress, Serbian Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic said Tuesday.

"Serbia wants to open its door to all future investors from Azerbaijan, who can create new jobs in our country for our citizens, as well as make profit," Stefanovic said at the end of a two-day visit to Azerbaijan, noting that Serbia had had good experiences with Azerbaijani investors.

Stefanovic held meetings with Azerbaijan's top officials to also discuss ways of improving security cooperation, police cooperation in the fight against organised crime and terrorism, exchange of information on migration and other matters that can contribute to more efficient police work.
