Serbian Parliament passes 2017 budget bill

BELGRADE - The Serbian parliament has passed the 2017 budget bill, which envisions total revenues of 1,092 bln dinars and expenditures of 1,161 bln dinars.

A hundred and fifty-three MPs voted for the bill on Saturday, 26 voted against, while three abstained.

The total budget expenditures will be 69.1 bln dinars higher than the revenues, creating a deficit of 1.7 pct of GDP.

The budget was planned based on projections of 3 pct real GDP growth and 2.4 pct inflation.
