Vucic: Serbia committed to good-neighbourly ties with Croatia

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic met in Belgrade on Friday with Milorad Pupovac, president of Croatia's Serb National Council, reiterating Serbia's commitment to good-neighbourly relations with Croatia.

Vucic and Pupovac, who is also an MP in the Croatian parliament, discussed the position of ethnic Serbs in Croatia and possibilities for Serbian government assistance to institutions of the Serb community there.

They discussed ways in which the Serbian government can help to solve the difficulties facing Serbs in Croatia and improve their position, the government said in a statement.

The Serbian government will help the institutions of the Serb community in the strengthening of their programming capacities, in particular in education and culture, the statement said.
