Vucic: Serbia to help Serb institutions in Montenegro

BELGRADE - The Serbian government will assist all institutions of Montenegro's ethnic Serbs and, like it is helping Serbs elsewhere in the region, it will also help Serbs in Montenegro, PM Aleksandar Vucic said at a meeting with the leader of Montenegro's New Serb Democracy party, Andrija Mandic.

Mandic pointed to the exceptionally difficult position of Montenegro's Serbs, requesting Serbian government assistance in presenting that position to the international community.

He also requested help for Serb cultural and national institutions in Montenegro, noting that Serbia had been caring for their work to the best of its abilities, the Serbian government said in a statement.
