Six people injured in fight over leading folk dance in Turkey's southeast

Six people were injured after fighting over who should lead the "halay" folk dance during a wedding ceremony in the southeastern province of Şanlıurfa on March 5.

The fight occurred in the Haliliye district's Kısas neighborhood's square. 

Two groups of attendees started arguing about who should lead the "halay" line, which quickly led to a fight. Gendarmerie forces were dispatched to the area and dispersed the groups. 

The six injured people were taken to hospital.

The gendarmerie launched an investigation to detect those who were involved in the fight.
